Steve Chamley--Owner
In 1981, I started my journey in long-term care. It has been an adventureous one, but one of great satisfaction. I have worked in the capacity of Facility Administrator, Executive Director, and Chief Operating Officer of health care facilities and health systems. Making sure the finest resident care is delivered has always been my goal. With a building our size, there is no reason we should not be a big, happy family.

Audra Bartenhagen -- Administrator
I started my journey in 2013 as a nurses aide. I developed a love for the elderly, and instantly knew I wanted to continue working with the senior population. From high school, I attended the University of Iowa and graduated in 2017 with a bachelor's in Communications with a certificate in Entrepreneurship. In September of 2017 I started at Northcrest Living Center as an Administrative Intern, and received my Licenses in Long-Term Administration in May of 2018. I enjoy helping our residents and their loved ones feel at home and become a part of our family!

Brenda Hunt--Business Office Manager
I started working in the healthcare field in 2005. In 2008 I had the opportunity to move into a Long Term Care facility business office. I found that this was where my passion was. With the constant changes in healthcare, each day is new and exciting. I appreciate the day to day care and compassion that comes from working in this atmosphere.

Denise Krueger--Director of Nursing
Thirty-two years ago I started in the long-term care business as a CNA. After earning my nursing degree, I decided to be a "hospital nurse", but I quickly learned that was not where I belonged. I have worked as a nurse for twenty years, nine of them being at Northcrest. I have seen many changes in long-term care, but one thing that has never changed is the enjoyment and satisfation I continue to recieve from these folks. I am grateful for all they have given me.

Amanda Lobaugh R.N--Assistant Director of Nursing
I started in long term care in 1999 as a CNA and 10 years later decided to earn my LNP degree. I stared at Northcrest Living Center in 2012 as an overnight nurse as I finished my degree. After graduation I continued to work here at Northcrest. I enjoy working in long term care because of the residents and staff. Assisting others in life gives you a feeling that words just can't describe. I enjoy coming to work every day and seeing the friendly faces, smiling faces of the residents, and knowing they appreciate everything we all do to assist them.

Cassie Krueger -- MDS Assistant/Medical Records
I went to SWCC in Creston, Iowa to obtain my LPN license in 2007. I worked as a CNA for a number of years before I decided I wanted to become a nurse. When I became a nurse, I worked the 2-10 shift for a while in Oakland, then came to Northcrest shortly after. I worked on the floor for a number of years, but recently I have started assisting with MDS's and doing Medical Records and the transportation scheduling for our residents. I have enjoyed my time here at Northcrest thus far, and look forward to continuing serving the facility, our residents and their families.
